Dreamy Pitaya Spinach Protein Smoothie

I love the fact that you can get your greens intake in such a fun, magenta way! This Pitaya (dragonfruit) smoothie is also raw vegan, and has a protein boos that’s perfect pre- or post-workout. It is also rich with anti-inflammatory qualities and is full of fiber, antioxidants, vitamin C, magnesium and omegas.

Pitaya Spinach Avo Smoothie

Ingredients to blend:

(makes 2 smoothies)

  • 1.5 cups almond milk
  • 2 Dragonfruit smoothie packs
  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 tbs. raw cocoa
  • 2 tbs. raw cacao nibs
  • 2 scoops plant protein of your choice (I recommend vanilla flavor for this one)
  • Optional: 1 tbs. chlorophyll for even more alkalizing effect

Toppings:

  • 1 tbs. cacao nibs
  • handful raspberries
