I love the fact that you can get your greens intake in such a fun, magenta way! This Pitaya (dragonfruit) smoothie is also raw vegan, and has a protein boos that’s perfect pre- or post-workout. It is also rich with anti-inflammatory qualities and is full of fiber, antioxidants, vitamin C, magnesium and omegas.
Ingredients to blend:
(makes 2 smoothies)
- 1.5 cups almond milk
- 2 Dragonfruit smoothie packs
- 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 tbs. raw cocoa
- 2 tbs. raw cacao nibs
- 2 scoops plant protein of your choice (I recommend vanilla flavor for this one)
- Optional: 1 tbs. chlorophyll for even more alkalizing effect
Toppings:
- 1 tbs. cacao nibs
- handful raspberries
