Introducing friends to the magic of superfood bowl is so rewarding! It’s been a year since I discovered the delicious, nourishing, plant-based acai bowls thanks to Australian healthy foodie Loni Jane, The Beet Box Cafe in Haleiwa, Hawaii, and Sambazon, and my life hasn’t been the same. The great thing about acai bowls is that there’s a countless amount of ways you can eat them – so get creative! Try adding greens (kale, spinach, collard), avocado, and even pumpkin. The result will blow your mind and leave you feeling energized and ready to conquer the world!
Ingredients to Blend: (makes 2 large bowls)
- 2 Sambazon unsweetened acai smoothie packs
- 1/2 mango
- 1 ripe banana (use the dotty ones!)
- 1/2 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tbsp raw cacao
- 1 tsbp chia seeds
Topped with:
- 1/2 mango
- 1/2 banana
- Granola (recipe here)
- 2 tbs. raw cacao nibs
- Strawberry
