One of my favorite things is scrolling through the #breakfastcriminals hashtag on Instagram to see all the breakfast love from around the world that you’re creating. @melsblisscuracao never ceases to amaze with her colorful whole food creations, and this blueberry fig spinach smoothie with tahini is no exception.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 cups of greens (I used arugula and baby spinach)
1 cups frozen blueberries
2 bananas
1 tsp. tahini
1 tbsp. cacao powder
1 tsp. maca powder
4 dried figs
Directions:
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Suggested toppings (optional): Hemp seeds, goji berries, figs, blueberries and a tahini drizzle (tahini mixed with little bit of filtered water).
Very exotic flavor. Love it!
