I love the combination of sweet mango with sour yogurt in a creamy lassi, so I created this healthy refined sugar free version that makes a perfect nutritious breakfast, or a refreshing smoothie on the go. Add ginger and a slice of lemon with zest to this creamy sensation, as it gives it a perfectly zesty finish, and is great for digestion and immunity. Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 mango
- 1/3 cup plain thick Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp maca powder
- 1 inch chopped or grated fresh ginger
- 1 large slice unpeeled lemon
- 2 dates (optional for sweetness)
Topped with:
- Homemade superfood granola with almonds, hazelnuts, coconut & goji
- Banana
- Mango
- Bee pollen
- Coconut chips
